Effects of Organic Nano Calcium Carbonate on Aging Resistance of Bio-Asphalt

To improve the aging resistance of bioasphalt and explore impact organic nano calcium carbonate (CaCO3) on bioasphalt, thin-film oven test (TFOT), basic property test, rheological four components infrared spectrum were used to study with different nano-CaCO3 contents. The results show that addition increases residual penetration, ductility, softening point bioasphalt. Within range dosage, greater more significant effect is. With increase content, complex modulus index (GAI) gradually decreases, colloidal instability (IC) decreases. When content is 6%, GAI modified less than matrix asphalt. nanoscale super large specific surface area has an adsorption light in which slows down volatilization loss oxidation process helps reduce change rate carbonyl sulfoxide index.
